Landon Donovans Love Child Debacle

With his USA team having just been ousted from the World Cup, Landon Donovan has now found himself at the center of a love child scandal.

The star, who plays alongside David Beckham for the Los Angeles Galaxy, has been accused of fathering a child during a ten-week stay in Britain in 2009.

Reports claim a mystery woman is set to blow the lid on her brief romance with Donovan, who is currently separated from his wife Bianca Kajlich.

An insider alleges the footballer bedded the British woman while playing for Everton last winter, of which Donovan told Sports Illustrated that the situation is a "private matter," adding: "If I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support."
