Katharine McPhee Feeding Minds Charity Chick

She’s always happy to use her fame for a good cause, and yesterday (June 29) Katharine McPhee was spotted at the “Party for Good- Making Meals to Feed Young Minds” shindig in New York City.

The “American Idol” alum looked lovely as she arrived at Pier 36’s Basketball City on South Street for the very special event.

In related news, Ms. McPhee will be releasing a Christmas album this holiday season to help her fans get into the festive mood.

Though the details of the project are still largely under wraps, Katharine did say that one of the tracks on the album would be her version of “O Holy Night.”
