Steve Carell Talks Leaving The Office

He’s looking to move on from his hit NBC gig “The Office” after this season, but Steve Carell isn’t worried about the health of the show after his departure.

The “Get Smart” actor explained, “The show’s going to be great. The show has been very consistent and I’m just one part of this ensemble. The show is so strong and has such good writers, it will continue to be great. So the show’s not going anywhere.”

Carell also shared that while he’s definitely looking forward to having more time with his family, he’ll deeply miss working with his costars.

“I will miss all my friends. We’ve known each other now for seven, eight years. I mean, it’s been a long time since the time we shot the pilot until now, so that’s by far what I’ll miss the most, the friendships that I’ve gained there.”
