Keeping himself occupied now that his career and marriage are in the toilet, Spencer Pratt was spotted out and about in Malibu yesterday (July 25).

The former “Hills” star looked a bit scruffy with a big beard and bushy hairdo as he bought a surfboard and hung out with a friend.

Pratt recently launched his new King Spencer website, and is communicating with the world via his blog and Twitter account.

Hinting that he’s been really lonely as of late, Spencer tweeted, “Having no friends is super easy. If I didn’t love myself, who would?”
