She’s always been a lover of animals and, earlier today (August 2), Pamela Anderson was spotted lending a helping hand in an effort to rescue abandoned dogs in New Orleans, Louisiana following the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
After adopting two dogs of her own, the former “Baywatch” babe and her new pups posed for pictures as she spoke with press about the good cause event.
Pammie told, "Everywhere you go, there are far more dogs than good homes, but the crisis in Louisiana is prompting people to open their hearts and doors to animals in trouble."
PETA members were called into action by officials at the Humane Society of Louisiana, who pleaded for help after an oil spill evacuation left hundreds of dogs stranded.
