Blake Lively Gunning for Scarlett Johansson

She’s drop-dead gorgeous and has a career many would kill for, but Blake Lively seems to be bent on stealing a movie role away from Scarlett Johansson.

According to a NY Daily News report, the “Gossip Girl” actress is green with envy over the fact that Scarlett is a shoo-in for a new sci-fi thriller called “Gravity” and wants the gig for herself.

Lively supposedly tried to steal the job by talking to director Alfonson Cuaron before he signed a contract with Johansson, but Cuaron was not willing to budge as he was dead set on getting Scarlett for the film.

Interestingly enough, Blake has been singing Scarlett’s praises in the media, especially after working with her hubby Ryan Reynolds on “Green Lantern.”
