Michaele Salahi and Whoopi Goldbergs View Fracas

She’s known to have a bit of a temper, and Whoopi Goldberg ended up in a profanity-laced verbal skirmish with White House gatecrashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi after “The View” yesterday.

The eccentric hostess had touched Michaele during her interview to promote “The Real Housewives of D.C.” and said, "Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please."

And though it was clearly a joke, after the show the Salahis accused Goldberg of assault and began yelling at her.

A rep from the show told press, "As the broadcast clearly shows, the accusation was completely unfounded. After being told she was being accused of hitting Ms. Salahi, Whoopi proceeded to defend herself verbally."
