Kristin Chenoweths New Gig

She had a guest spot on “Glee” and now Kristin Chenoweth is working with the show’s creator on a concept of her own.

The “Pushing Daisies” actress will star in a half-hour musical comedy series designed to showcase her talent.

Ryan Murphy told press, “I’ve always wanted to do something for Kristin. Kristin is a good, close friend of mine obviously, so I’m writing a half-hour musical comedy specifically for Kristin because if you can sing like that, I want her to be the star of her own show where she sings.”

Murphy added that Chenoweth’s show may be a bit racier than “Glee.” “I can’t say too much about it yet. Kristin is so funny. I want it to be adult.
