Fantasia Barrino Recovering from Suicide Attempt

She’s been having a rough time as of late, and after a failed suicide attempt Fantasia Barrino is said to be on the mend.

According to a report, the “American Idol” alum was found in her closet after taking a lethal amount of medication in an attempt to end her life.

From there, Fantasia was taken to a hospital where she was treated for ‘possible internal injuries’ resulting from her medication overdose.

Barrino’s father Joseph Barrino told press, “She’s doing fine,” and seemed positive about Fantasia’s recovery.
