There are few things she can’t do, and now Betty White is taking stab at being an author.
The “Golden Girl” will write two books for publisher G.P. Putnam’s Sons, the Associated Press reports.
The first book “Listen Up!”, which is set to be released in Spring 2011, finds White dispensing her wisdom and wit on TV, getting older, sex, Hollywood and her classic skit on “Saturday Night Live.”
Slated for a 2012 release, the second book is called “The Zoo and I: Betty and Her Friends” and shares stories and photographs of her “animal friends” at the Los Angeles Zoo, where she is a board member.
In other news, White’s hit show “Hot in Cleveland” has been given the green light for a second season, and she’s set to appear as a recurring character on NBC’s “Community” this fall.
